About

Quinn (Q) Furnald is a Christian musician, campus minister, teacher, and writer passionate about service and ministry.  Q graduated from Montclair State University in June of 2021 with a Masters of Arts in Music Composition, with a secondary focus in Choral Conducting, and graduated from Lehigh University in May of 2018, with a B.A. in Music, with a dual concentration in Composition & Theory, and Conducting.​

As a composer, Q Furnald has studied with Dr. Aaron Helgeson and Dr. Marcos Balter at Montclair State University, and Dr. Steven Sametz and Dr. Paul Salerni at Lehigh University.  Sametz and Salerni were mentors to his senior composition recital at Lehigh.  Dr. Sametz was also a mentor to Q Furnald's conducting recitals and guided him on conducting his original works at his senior recital.

Q Furnald has focused most of his study in composition and conducting towards choral music, and is developing his style as a modern choral composer, singer/songwriter, and educator.

Q Furnald is a contemporary artist and has led worship music, as both a solo artist and with bands, has directed service trips and mission camps, spoken at conferences, and led music for masses for a number of church and school communities around the United States and Europe.
